LG V30(+) DAP-ified is my flagship DAP and a passion project of mine to keep this device I love alive. I believe I have made the most cost effective and fully-featured modern Android DAP available today. It is customized from the ground up to integrate all of LG's Quad DAC drivers, while also unlocking settings LG did not provide to give you total control over the sound.

With an ESS Sabre 9218P DAC tuned by B&O, V30(+) DAP-ified is the best sounding of my entire lineup.

These LG V30/V30+ units are professionally cross-flashed from US models to open-market US998/US998U firmware with a custom-made DAP-ified Android 14 OS for use as digital audio players. Firmware conversion does not alter the internal RF hardware. Buyers must verify network compatibility by comparing listed bands with carrier bands and policies before purchase.

Carrier-specific tools and VoLTE are not implemented. LG does not provide proprietary IMS and modem blobs. Using this device to place cellular phone calls will likely result in issues. Standard CDMA/2G/3G/4G LTE data works as intended based on local carrier band deployment and provisioning. WiFi and hotspotting function normally.

Returns

No returns are accepted for carrier, SIM, or regional incompatibility. Additional firmware flashing or root level modifications performed by the customer that break functionality, such as the Quad DAC, void return eligibility. Each device is documented with date-stamped photos, videos, and tracked IMEI/serial numbers to ensure authenticity.
